There is a lot on the agenda for both German politicians and the Renewable Energy Hamburg Cluster Agency. From Berlin, we are hoping for the postponed adoption of the Buildings Energy Act and progress with CNESP, the Climate-Neutral Electricity System Platform that published its first interim report in early August on the status quo, as well as potentials and challenges in the electricity market. In the second half of the year, the platform will consider the development of various market design options in more detail.

The Renewable Energy Hamburg Cluster Agency’s agenda includes a number of event highlights for the next six months. The EEHH Cluster Agency attended Husum Wind 2023 from 12 to 15 September, together with six co-exhibitors and two logo partners. In addition to its stand, the industry network is also offering a varied supporting programme in the form of presentations at the accompanying Industry Meet Renewables conference and the trade fair itself.

On 27 and 28 September, the EEHH Cluster Agency is attending the Hydrogen Technology trade fair in Bremen for the first time, along with the DWV and VDMA associations. From 2024, this annual trade fair will take place in late October at Hamburg Exhibition Centre. In future, the Cluster Agency will give members the opportunity to rent space on a shared stand.
